The Reverend Tullia Forlani Kidde
The Center for Women’s Health is proud to announce the establishment of The Reverend Tullia Forlani Kidde School of Spiritual Studies.
The Reverend Tullia Forlani Kidde, who passed away in 2007, was an interfaith minister, therapist and metaphysician that improved the lives of all who knew her. She also served as the first spiritual mentor of Dr. Evans, teaching him how to apply the basic principles of spirituality and metaphysics in his daily life. Since Reverend Kidde’s passing, Dr. Evans has actively continued his spiritual education through a dedicated and disciplined course of study of the philosophy and writings of the world’s great spiritual masters as well as Tullia’s own sermons and teachings.
Dr. Evans travels to India twice a year to perform service work and “recharge spiritually” at the ashram of Reverend Kidde’s most highly esteemed living spiritual master. Dr. Evans is committed to upholding Reverend Kidde’s conviction that unless spiritual knowledge is put into practice it has not served its true purpose, and has dedicated himself to pursuing spiritual growth and living a spiritual life.
Dr. Evans has created The Reverend Tullia Forlani Kidde School of Spiritual Studies as a way to honor and further Tullia’s legacy. The School will serve as the umbrella for the spiritual and metaphysical workshops and classes offered at the Center for Women’s Health. Starting Monday, October 4, 2010, The School will offer weekly classes on Monday evenings from 7-9 PM. There is no charge for these classes, but there is a suggested donation of $20 for the charity that is affiliated with the Ashram in India that Dr. Evans visits.
The first “term” of The Reverend Tullia Forlani Kidde School of Spiritual Studies will be a detailed study of the well known spiritual text entitled A Course in Miracles, written by Helen Schucman and William Thetford, Professors of Medical Psychology at Columbia University's College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City. Although Christian in statement, the Course deals with universal spiritual themes and is appropriate for students of all religious faiths. Studying A Course in Miracles with us requires your open and honest participation in class discussions and a commitment to practicing the principles in your daily life.
If this brief description of The Reverend Tullia Forlani Kidde School of Spiritual Studies peaks your interest, please call the office to discuss your potential enrollment with Dr. Evans or Monique Class, A.P.R.N.
